A video of billionaire CEO of Coscharis Motors, Cosmas Maduka evangelizing in the middle of the street has surfaced online.
In the video, Mr Maduka is seen holding a bible in one hand and a microphone in the other as he preaches about Jesus in English. Beside him is a translator translating his words to Yoruba language.
The video has generated reactions from the social media space both within and outside the country. While some social media users wowed at his commitment to his Faith, and in such a humble manner, many say it was noise pollution. A Twitter user @renomokri wrote, "as This is Cosmas Maduka, CEO of Coscharis Motors. Worth $800 million. An evangelist. He does NOT collect tithes or owns Private Jets. But, he evangelises in the streets. Be suspicious of any Christianity whose end result is MONEY and not SOUL WINNING."
Cosmas Maduka CON is a Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, the Founder, President and Chairman of the Cocharis Group, an indigenous conglomerate with diverse interest in Manufacturing, ICT, Petrochemical, Auto care and Auto Components, Automobile Sales and Services, Agric and Agro Allied business sectors.
Religion is an emotional thing here in Africa and another Twitter commentator @Davolade also pointed out that, "if any of the CEOs of Rolce Royce, Chrysler, Toyota manufacturers did that on the street of London, New York, Tokyo, he would have been taken to a psychiatric hospital, I'm 100% certain."

Many are of the opinion that he could have channeled his energy for the #bringbackourgirls campaign and organize protests that could help the lot of the common man. They say such actions constitute noise pollution.
Mr Maduka is evidently undaunted by the criticisms and accolades. At least, to him and many other evangelicals, he's doing the commands of Jesus to preach and save souls for heavenly kingdom. The question is, what course should a billionaire pursue and in what manner? That's for the critical thinkers.
