Kativhu's academic trajectory reads like a blueprint for tenacity. After moving from Zimbabwe to the United Kingdom at a young age, she fought through structural disadvantages to secure her place at the University of Oxford. There, she made history as the first Black woman to graduate from Lady Margaret Hall's Foundation Year program before earning her undergraduate degree in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History.
Not stopping at Oxford, she crossed the Atlantic to complete her master's degree in International Education Policy at Harvard University. Her appetite for high-level academic rigor and systemic reform soon earned her a full scholarship for doctoral research in educational leadership at Claremont Graduate University, paired with global fellowship appointments that place her at the forefront of international scholarship.
