In its quest to unravel the next big superstars via digital platforms across the continent, a South African based Non-Profit Organization, Centre for the Advancement of Participation in International Relations (CACPIR) is set to launch “Search Africa" competition. It is Africa’s first purely digital music competition to be launched simultaneously in every country on the African continent.
Search Africa is proudly African music and artistic platform for emerging creatives. It aims at encouraging collaboration, sustainability, development, and growth across borders.
Entries are opened to participants regardless of age or genre. The process to enter is simple and convenient as relevant links and a WhatsApp number will be made available on social media prior to the launch date which will be announced soon.
How To ParticipateSearch Africa’s submissions will be made in the form of a 45 sec-1minute performance video, after being reviewed by virtual judges from each respective country, the best will then be shortlisted and uploaded on social media for voting accompanied by information on how to vote and a link. Search Africa will consist of numerous rounds, public discussions, and challenges keeping online audiences engaged and excited.

CACPIR is currently building an online academy within the structures Search Africa as well as a mentorship program. Something else to look forward to in the near future is the Search Africa Festival/Expo/Fund, according to a recent statement released by the management.
Search Africa is launched in association with Channel Africa, African Creative Institute, Imbaraga Radio, Metro FM Zambia, Hype-Ghana, Xrated Uganda and many more. Search Africa is the next phase of the digital evolution brainchild of 23-year-old CACPIR Project Leader Tiisetso Mosholi.
