Rwanda Unveils City Sightseeing Tour Bus And This Will Further Boost Tourism In The Country

Table of Contents

Tourism in Rwanda is gaining momentum, and further investments into this booming industry are the only way to ensure it continues to flourish. Kigali City recently unveiled a sightseeing double decker bus in a move that will further improve tourism for the city.

The bus was unveiled by Kigali City Tour Ltd, Rwanda Development Board, and the City of Kigali. The bus has a capacity to serve 200 tourists every day through an itinerary of three schedules called Old Kigali, where tourists are taken through the history of Kigali.

This is a power move considering how the tourism needs of the city are ever-growing. This also means a need to develop new products that complement the growing tourism industry.

Kigali has been rated as one of Africa's best cities and cleanest cities. More people are visiting the city. On average, Kigali is visited by 1.3 million people per year. However, Rwanda still needs to intensify its efforts as regards attracting more and more tourists.

The bus has top-of-the-range services, equipped with a toilet, air conditioner, WI-FI, charging portals for electronic devices and digital screens. International tourists pay $40, while domestic tourists pay $20. Groups have the privilege of being given a discount.
