French Officials Were Involved in the Rwanda Genocide, New Report Claims

A Cunningham Levy Muse report has revealed that the French government and military were complicit in supporting perpetrators of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. The expose, styled “The Muse Report” alleges France, through its officials, provided sanctuary to genocide suspects and allowed perpetrators to meet at the French embassy in the Rwandan capital of Kigali. It is at the embassy that an interim government was mooted, which government ruled the country during the dark times of the Rwandan genocide. Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe, the Rwandan Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “We have information, mostly from France, which shows how the government of France and French officials were involved before, during, and after the genocide in support of the government that committed genocide in support of the government that committed genocide.”

Why does this matter?

The report goes a long way in confirming Rwanda’s claim that French officials aided the genocide. Last year, the Rwandan National Commission for the Fight Against Genocide (CNLG) named 22 French army officials it said knowingly aided the planning and execution of the 1994 Genocide. The CNLG report said, “French actors were involved in the genocide both as perpetrators and accomplices, and do not want their acts to be known despite their proofs.”

A broader international problem

The 1994 genocide has exposed the fragility of globalism as many countries stand accused of being tacitly complicit for their deafening silence during the killings. The Holy See, earlier this year, apologized for “the sins and failings of the Church and its member” who were implicated in the genocide after Rwanda had requested for an apology from the Vatican. Too many skeletons have been hidden in closets and without full disclosure and utmost openness, more exposés are bound to surface.
