African Start-up to Win $10,000 at Harvard's Africa Business Conference

The Africa Business Conference is almost here and there is too much to be excited about. The conference is already a force all on its own what more if you add a bit of money to be won by deserving businesses? It will be spectacular. Unfortunately if you did not apply in time (November 20th to December 15 last year), you are not in the running but 10 African start-ups are. These 10 will be invited to pitch their business in front of approximately 700 attendees and receive feedback from a panel of experienced judges. The competition winner and runner-up will be awarded cash prizes of $10,000 and $5,000, respectively.  Finalists will have the opportunity to participate in the Startup Lab, a workshop for early-stage entrepreneurs to solicit advice from conference participants.

Apart from that, 20 ventures will showcase their companies in a Start-up Fair. The future of African business will be on display in Boston, USA. May it send shivers and chills of excitement throughout the world!

Nokware Skincare is a beauty and skincare brand from Ghana, featuring skincare products that are natural, sourced locally and packaged sustainably

Majik Water harvests water from air, creating a new source of clean drinking water for water-scarce communities.

Africa Energy Solutions (AES) is a power generation (Energy) company that provides professional services in power generation.
