Kenyan artists such as Bankslave, Swift9, Kaymist, Wise Two and Smokillah and Thufu B are leading the charge in painting Nairobi streets with heartwarming graffiti. While artistic expression like graffiti in public spaces has often been frowned upon, it is slowly being embraced. Some of the painting include actual zebras on pedestrian crossings, 3D black and white crossing marks, footprints, and hopscotch games.
