Investigate and Suspend the UK-Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka

Nigerian Nobel prize for literature winner, Prof. Wole Soyinka has called on Commonwealth nations to investigate the UK.

The professor made the comments following the decision by Britain's Prime minister, Boris Johnson to suspend parliament. He believes this will set a bad example for African countries, especially the commonwealth nations and calls for an investigation of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Soyinka believes that the commonwealth should not treat the UK as a sacred cow but should investigate and suspend the former colonial master if found guilty.

He also compared the British leader to Oliver Cromwell and Vladimir Putin.

Boris Johnson took over as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party from Mrs. Tereza may in July 2019. He has since them been in locker heads with parliament over Brexit.

His suspension of parliament has been criticized by many who claim that it reflects the actions of a dictator.

Critics have accused Mr Johnson of being a selfish politician and racist. His determination to effect Brexit at all costs gives credit to the accusations.

In what promises to be a turn of exciting events, Jo Johnson, the younger brother of the British Prime Minister has resigned as an MP and minister.

Jo Johnson, who is not in support of Brexit and wants Britain to remain with the EU, said he is "torn between family loyalty and the national interest".

Mr. Jo Johnson voted Remain in the 2016 EU membership referendum, while his brother co-led the Leave campaign.

Mr Johnson's resignation follows the removal of the Tory whip from 21 MPs this week for supporting moves to prevent a no-deal Brexit.

Jo Johnson resigned as a minister last year in protest at Theresa May's Brexit deal with the EU. But he re-entered government during the summer after Conservative Party members elected his brother as the leader.

Jo Johnson's resignation also comes as the government announced it would give MPs another chance to vote for an early election on Monday.

There have been rumors that Britain plans to leave the European Union to strengthen its hold on the commonwealth nations uncontested.
