Twitter Goes Crazy After Nigerian Man Correctly Predicted Results of the Nigeria vs Iceland Match

If anyone can still remember the days of Paul the Octopus, in 2010, where the octopus rightly predicted matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and people fell in love with it? Well, we have something interesting from a user on Twitter from Nigeria.

Nigeria faced Iceland today in what was a very crucial match to them. They needed to keep their hopes in the World Cup alive and were ready to fight for it. They got into the match on the backdrop of this against an Iceland team that was very confident after it held Argentina to a draw in the opening round of group  fixtures. 

Nigeria fought quite stoically in the match, holding off Iceland at crucial moments, and creating more chances than Iceland. By the halftime mark, it was clear that if Nigeria wanted to really turn the game in their favour, things would really go their way. Ahmed Musa blessed Nigeria with 2 beautiful goals, piling frustration on Iceland, and thus securing a 2-0 win. Later in the game Iceland wasted a chance as they missed a penalty. But even apart from that, it was a well-deserved win for Nigeria.

Earlier in the day, a Nigerian man on Twitter predicted that the match would end by a scoreline of 2-0. You may be wondering what the source or authority of his prediction came from. It came from a dream. He tweeted that his dream had told him Nigeria would play Iceland 2-0. 

"Nigeria is going to play Iceland 2-0. At least that’s what my dream said. I’m not sure who won but the same person scored both goals," read the tweet from a user called Tolulope.

And that the same person would score the two goals. Nigeria won 2-0, and both goals came from Ahmed Musa. He tweeted another tweet accompanied with a PayPal link offering services of seeing into one's life. "Get professional insight into your career, love life, family, health... etc. $30 per session."

Is this really true? All we know is that he rightly predicted the outcome of this match. And Twitter went crazy about it. Maybe he could also predict some scores for the upcoming games, particularly the Argentina vs Nigeria one. 

And well, Nigeria's hopes at the World Cup have also been re-ignited and things have just become more interesting.
