After finishing in the Top 5 and winning the crown of Miss World Africa at the just ended Miss World Beauty Pageant in China on December 8, Ugandan Beauty Queen, Muzukuli Quiin Abenakyo thought it wise to pay the president of her country, Yoweri Museveni, a courtesy visit.
Apart from officially presenting the crown to the number one citizen of the country, Quiin Abenakyo undoubtedly hoped to receive some fatherly blessings from the 74-year-old Ugandan leader.
Unknown to her, she would receive some beauty tips as well.
After receiving the current Miss World Africa whom the president admits is tall and beautiful, President Museveni said he had encouraged her to ditch her fake hair extensions for natural African hair.
He made this known in a tweet after the Beauty Queen paid him a courtesy visit.
“Abenakyo is indeed a tall, beautiful Musoga girl. My only concern is that she was wearing Indian hair. I have encouraged her to keep her natural, African hair. We must show African beauty in its natural form;” he tweeted
She was received at the Entebbe International Airport on Wednesday by the Tourism State Minister, Godfrey Kiwanda, who led her to visit Museveni and the First Lady.
Abenakyo is a Computer Science student at Makerere University Business School in Nakawa. The 22-year-old hails from the Mayuge District in Eastern Uganda.
The winning beauty queens in the top 5 at the Miss World 2018 are:Miss Mexico, Vanessa Ponce de Leon (Miss World America)
