Mugabe is Responsible for Killing Zimbabwe

Former Zimbabwean vice president Joice Mujuru at a campaign rally in Gutu over the weekend said President Robert Mugabe is responsible for all the current problems the country is facing.

According to media reports online, Mujuru, now the leader of the National People’s Party (NPP), said that Mugabe’s “undiplomatic angry outbursts against other world leaders” had isolated the country from the rest of the world.

“We have leadership bankruptcy in Zimbabwe. The world that you speak will make your neighbors want to come and build with you but if they hear that the words that you say are not for progress, they will leave you.”

“They will leave you to where we are now as a country, to where Mugabe and his party Zanu-PF have taken us,” she concluded.

On several occasions, President Mugabe has blasted the west and accused them of “illegal regime change” aimed at crippling the country economy.

In 2002, the European Union, imposed sanctions on Mugabe and his government over abuse of human rights and faulty democratic processes.

Zimbabwe is expected to hold its presidential elections in 2018.
