Make The Best Out of Your Passions
“Follow your passion” has become a global mantra for people who are trying to make the best out of their lives.
We are often told to not only identify but also make the best out of our passions if we want to succeed in life because our passions are a strategic elixir for doing things effortlessly.
President Kagame has created another level of reality by inadvertently demonstrating how a trivial passion such as supporting a European football club can translate into a significant effect of making millions of dollars for your country.
He is on twitter record expressing his commitment as a fan, agony and hope for the better, following Arsenal’s recent consistent poor display on the pitch.
He has now taken his hope for the better, for the club, on another level, by making Rwanda the official tourism partner of Arsenal Football Club.
Arsenal’s first men’s team, under 23’s and women’s team will have the left sleeves of their jerseys bearing the logo “VISIT RWANDA” starting next football season.
This 3-year deal is a modern-day representation of shooting two birds with one stone because it simultaneously nourishes Kagame’s emotional attachment to the club and is poised to fortify Rwanda’s foreign exchange avenues.
Following this deal, Mr. Kagame, has not only harnessed the fruits of the global mantra, “follow your passion”, but also proven its effectiveness.
