Festus Iyorah

Festus Iyorah is a Young Nigerian who has passion for the news business. He kick-started his journalism career in January 2014 as a Campus Reporter with Nigeria’s The Nation newspaper, and in a month interval was selected as one of the pioneer Reporters of Connecticut based Youth Journalism International, United States. From Boko Haram crisis in Nigeria, the 2015 general election to the Ebola crisis that hit Nigeria in 2015, he has reported an array of stories for YJI since 2014. He was a finalist at the Nigeria Writers Award as campus writer of the year, 2015 and also Mass Communication Student Association (MACSA), photojournalist of the year, 2016. His work has also been published by different outlets including Nigerian Tribune as a contributor and U.S based PBS newshour.
