“You have supported me too much my ninjas and this has continuously enabled me to do what I have always desired to do for so long. Help the needy,” she added.
According to the comedian, the Kansiime Foundation will be taking on 30 children from 7 different schools in Western Uganda -starting from her home- then take on more from all over the country as God leads her.
This is not her first time to support charitable events. In 2014, she visited Ndola, Zambia where a clinic was initiated and named after her. In her second visit, she launched the clinic and even announced her plans to engage in more charitable work in future.
“I visited again the Face of A Child Foundation, Kabushi- Kantolomba- Ndola, Zambia. While I shed tears of sadness last time, this time around I had tears of Joy. I am happy to have launched a clinic that was initiated during my last visit. I can’t wait to do more and more work here. I am honored and blessed to be associated with this orphanage. I’m grateful that they would have me as their Icon. I have and will continue to represent these wonderful souls.” said Anne after the launch.
Kansiime’s popular show saw her win the Most Outstanding African Comedian at the AAMMA (Afro Australian Music and Movies Awards) in Australia in 2014.
In an exclusive interview with Chano8, the comedian revealed that the fans are definitely in for a treat:
“An open door into my life, no limits, at least for that day. I can guarantee you this, if you have spare ribs, this is the time you will need them,’ she said before sharing her expectations of the show, ‘I expect to let loose and have fun with my ninjas, friends, family and everyone that has been part of the Kansiime journey.”
