Liverpool is willing to pay a staggering $91 million to bring Naby Keita, a Guinea international to the Merseyside club.
Although Liverpool is yet to bid for the RB Leipzig, manager Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the player and is determined to have him join the club.
Keita has been instrumental in RB Leipzig rise in the Bundesliga where they finished as runners-up in the 2016-2017 season. Keita was superb and scored eight league goals for the German club.
Leipzig, however, have said they are not willing to sell one of their best players this summer.
On Friday, Liverpool fans took to social media to show their excitement after the unveiling of midfielder Konrad Laimer by RB Leipzig on a four-year deal. His arrival is a possible replacement for Keita who can now join Liverpool.
But it will remain to be seen whether Keita himself is ambitious enough or willing to play in the premier league. We just have to wait and see if Leipzig who qualified for the champion league for the first time in history are willing to sell one of their best.
