Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is said to be a huge fan of Leicester City’s star Riyad Mahrez and wants him at the club next season.
Though Wenger has yet to make any bid for the winger, it is said the odds favor him and he might land the player who requested to leave Leicester last month.
The 26 year old Algerian joined the club from French club Le Harve in 2014 and helped Leicester win the Premier League in 2016.
In 2016/2017 season, Riyad Mahrez scored 10 goals and provided seven assists and helped Leicester recover from a poor start and finish 12th. He also helped the club reach this year's Champions League quarter-finals.
And as he had decided to move on from Leicester, a club where he had been for four seasons, Arsene Wenger might just be his next home as the Algerian player in the past has admitted to be a fan of the manager and his style of play.
However, Arsenal must beat Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham in the race to sign the star.
