Pastor Pastor Paul Sanyangore of Victory World International Church Zimbabwe has added a new stunt to televangelism when he dialed his phone in front of his congregation and claimed to be speaking directly to God.
In the video shared online, the pastor during a church service dialed God’s number and started going back and forth the church hall talking to God, as a woman knelt before him expecting a miracle and the congregation gave a stirring applause.
“Hello, is this heaven?” the pastor started the call.
“I have a woman here, what you have to say about her?” the pastor asked in the phone as he paced up and down the church hall to the woman.
“Ahh. Oh. I should ask who is Sibo?”
After the woman responded. The pastor continued with his call, pacing up and down and the congregation intensified their cheer.
“God is telling me to ask you why he is showing a heart.” He asked the kneeling woman and she responded.
Sanyangore walked back and forth again, and told the woman, “He is saying we should pray for your children, two of them. He is saying one is epileptic and the other is asthmatic.”
“He is saying I should ask you they are in Bulawayo.”
He screamed “Heaven is online,” and ended his call ordering the woman to stand up, “God is telling me to tell you your story has changed.” Seconds later, he laid hands on her, pushed her down and the woman fell. Then the congregation roared in applauds.
Pastor Sanyangore is a known controversial pastor who according to reports online anointed some condoms for members to use.
In an interview with Zimbabwe online news platform Bulawayo 24, the pastor said he will dish out God’s number soon so interested people can call him.
This is not the first time on the continent a pastor has pulled such a stunt that believers always fall for. One pastor sprayed his congregation with insecticide while another asked his members asked his congregation to eat grass and others were made to drink rat poison.
