• In Accra, Ghana lives a magician whose magic wand is a pencil. He goes by the name, Theopencil, a nod to his unbelievable prowess. Born on the 5th of May in 1993, he has just arrived and the world can expect even more from him in the not so distant future. Theopencil’s real name is Theophilus Boateng Kwaku Sarpong and interestingly, he has no formal education in art. He has been trained by passion and determination. From the age of eight, he was already drawing cartoons for fun and almost ten years later, he started working on his skills as a hyper realistic pencil artist mainly producing pieces on human figures.
