Nigerian-born British boxer, Anthony Joshua, on Saturday, visited popular Lagos slum, Makoko. This is his first time of visiting the country.
AJ, as he is popularly called visited the Slum2School initiative located in Makoko, where he spent time with the children.
From videos shared on the verified Instagram page of the initiative, he even shared some boxing tips with the children.
He was born in the United Kingdom.
The 29-year-old boxing champion arrived in Lagos and was welcomed by Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola's daughter, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy.
In a video shared on DJ Cuppy's Instagram page, the two were seen having fun in a car as they both sang along to a song by Paul Dairo.
Joshua won the unified world heavyweight champion, having held the World Boxing Association, International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organization titles between 2016 and 2019.
He, however, lost all titles to Mexican, Andy Ruiz in June and set for a rematch later this year.
