Manish Sisodia said that in the morning meeting of party MLAs, Kejriwal was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislature party. He said that all the 62 newly-elected MLAs in one voice supported Kejriwal for the post of leader.

63 of the 66 Congress candidates lost their deposits. Arvinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar, Devendra Yadav from Badli and Abhishek Dutt from Kasturba Nagar were able to save their bail. The bail of AAP and none of the BJP candidates were forfeited. Dharmapala Lakra, the AAP candidate from Mundka, is the richest. He has assets worth Rs 292.12 crore.
